Pymetrozine 50% WG is a systemic insecticide recommended for the control of Brown Plant Hopper (BPH) in rice. Pymetrozine acts on the chordotonal organs of sucking insects, which control their feeding mechanism. Disruption of these sensory organs prevents the insect from feeding, resulting in starvation and mortality over a few days.
