Tebuconazole 2% DS is a systemic fungicide that contains the active ingredient tebuconazole, as well as balanced auxiliaries and inert materials. Tebuconazole is used as a seed dressing due to its systemic properties. It controls pathogens that adhere to the surface of the seed as well as those that develop within the grain.
It is a triazole-based fungicide that controls seed-borne diseases in wheat and groundnuts by acting as a demethylation inhibitor (DMI) of fungal sterol biosynthesis.
