Silicon Oil is a specialized organosilicone-based adjuvant designed for agricultural applications. It helps improve the performance of crop protection agents (herbicides, insecticides, fungicides) by enhancing spray coverage, penetration, and rainfastness. This low-surface-tension solution ensures more uniform droplet spreading and absorption, helping agrochemicals work more efficiently.
Application and Dosage:
Spray Tank Use: Add Silicon Oil at the recommended rate to your spray mix.
Dosage: As a tank mix, 3-5 ml of Sil-One is recommended for 15 litre tanks.
Silicon Oil’s organosilicone molecules form a thin, uniform film on plant surfaces after spraying. This film lowers surface tension dramatically, resulting in more even droplet spreading and improved contact with leaves. The oil also facilitates deeper penetration through the leaf cuticle or stomata, enabling active ingredients to be absorbed more effectively.
