Description

Azoxystrobin 18.2% + Difenoconazole 11.4% SC is a dual systemic, broad-spectrum fungicide that offers protective and curative action against major fungal pathogens. It provides excellent control of Anthracnose and Powdery Mildew in Chilli, Early and Late Blight in Tomato, Blast and Sheath Blight in Paddy, Blight and Downy Mildew in Maize, and Rust and Powdery Mildew in Wheat.

This fungicide combines two active ingredients that complement each other:
Azoxystrobin (Group 11, FRAC 11): Inhibits fungal respiration by blocking electron transport in mitochondria, preventing spore germination and fungal growth.
Difenoconazole (Group 3, FRAC 3): Inhibits ergosterol biosynthesis in fungal cell membranes, disrupting fungal development and reproduction.
Together, they inhibit spore germination at the early stage of fungal development, protect crops from invasion, and provide long-lasting disease control. The formulation is absorbed quickly and moves systemically through the plant (both translaminar and acropetal movement).
