This is a combination of insecticide and fungicide which provides effective control for different pests and diseases. In this combination, Pymetrozine acts as an anti-feeding agent against different pests. Whereas Thiamethoxam is an insecticide which kills insects and ensures an insect-free field, the last but not least, Hexaconazole is a fungicide that controls fungal diseases like powdery mildew, rust and leaf spot.
Pymetrozine- Disrupts the feeding behavior of sucking pests (e.g., BPH, WBPH, GLH) by affecting their chordotonal organs, leading to starvation and death.
Thiamethoxam- It also interferes with the nervous system of insects. It breaks down the insect nervous system by binding to nicotinic acetylcholine receptors, leading to paralysis and mortality of insects.
Hexaconazole- It inhibits ergosterol production which is a key component of fungal cell membrane which leads to fungal cell collapse and death.
