Description
Quizalofop ethyl 5% EC based on Ethyl 2-{4-(6-chloroquinoxalin-2-yloxy) phenoxy} propionate, is a selective post emergence herbicide for the effective control of Grassy weeds in Soybean, Cotton, Groundnut, Black gram and Onion crops.
Mode of action:
Quizalofop ethyl inhibits the activity of the enzyme Acetyl-CoA carboxylase (ACCase), which is essential for lipid synthesis in plants.
Benefits:
- Very effective weedicide for control of narrow leaf weeds in broad leaf crops.
- It does not burn the weeds but kills the weeds – so they do not regerminate.
