Alphacypermethrin 5% WP is a high-performance synthetic pyrethroid insecticide in wettable powder form. It provides rapid knockdown and long-lasting residual control of a wide range of insect pests, including mosquitoes, houseflies, cockroaches, and other crawling and flying insects.
It works by disrupting nerve cell function in insects. Alphacypermethrin prolongs the opening of sodium channels in nerve membranes, causing repeated nerve impulses, paralysis, and eventual death. It acts through both contact and ingestion and leaves a persistent residual effect on treated surfaces.
