Description

Concentrated Mycorrhizae (3500 IP/gm) is a soluble powder formulation of VAM fungi enriched with growth-promoting compounds like seaweed extract, hydrolyzed protein, humic acid, and chelated nutrients. It supports seedlings, transplants, and direct-sown crops by enhancing root activity and nutrient uptake. The formulation is non-phytotoxic and can be applied through soil, foliar spray, irrigation, or fertigation systems.

Concentrated Mycorrhizae is a biofertilizer containing arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi (VAM) that colonize plant roots and form a dense hyphal network. The fungi penetrate root cortical cells, forming vesicles and arbuscules, which increase the interface for nutrient exchange. Hyphal networks extend the effective nutrient-absorbing surface, enhancing phosphate uptake and mobilizing micronutrients like Zn, Cu, B, and Mo. VAM fungi produce the glycoprotein glomalin, which contributes to soil carbon storage and aggregation. Application of mycorrhizae also improves root growth, plant resilience to drought, and tolerance to certain soil-borne pathogens and nematodes.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQS)

What is Mycorrhiza biofertilizer?

Mycorrhiza biofertilizer contains beneficial fungi that form a symbiotic association with plant roots. These fungi improve nutrient and water absorption by extending the effective root surface area through fungal hyphae.

How does Mycorrhiza help plant roots? +

Mycorrhiza helps plant roots by developing a hyphal network around the root zone, which improves the plant’s ability to absorb nutrients and water from the soil, leading to stronger root development.

Why is Mycorrhiza important for phosphorus uptake? +

Mycorrhiza improves phosphorus uptake by reaching soil areas beyond the root zone and making phosphorus more accessible to plants, which is essential for root and shoot development.

Can Mycorrhiza improve soil structure? +

Yes, Mycorrhiza improves soil structure by producing glomalin, a natural substance that helps bind soil particles together, improving soil aggregation and aeration.

How does Mycorrhiza support plant growth under stress? +

Mycorrhiza improves the plant’s ability to absorb water and nutrients, which helps plants tolerate stress conditions such as drought, transplant shock, and nutrient-deficient soils.
