Description

Pyroxasulfone 85% WG is a selective herbicide that provides effective control of annual grasses and broadleaf weeds. It works by significantly reducing the biosynthesis of very long-chain fatty acids (VLCFAs), leading to the accumulation of fatty acid precursors. This disruption inhibits multiple elongation steps, ultimately halting weed growth.

Biosynthesis Inhibition: Pyroxasulfone blocks the synthesis of VLCFAs, which are critical to cell membrane formation in plants, leading to the death of susceptible weeds.
