Description

Tetraconazole 3.8% w/w EW is a systemic triazole fungicide with a broad spectrum for use in agri-horticultural crops. It is protective against the target plant pathogens. It is a liquid fungicide used on sugar beets to control Cercospora leafspot and powdery mildew. It is applied to crops in a preventive and curative way.

Triazoles work primarily by interfering with cell growth, particularly the ability to form cell walls. These fungicides inhibit the biosynthesis of ergosterol in cell membranes. This fungicide is systemic with protectant, eradicant, and curative properties. Sterol biosynthesis inhibitors act mainly on the vegetative stages of fungi by blocking mycelial growth either inside or on the surface of the host plant.
