Description
Cartap Hydrochloride (Mortar 75% SG) is a systemic insecticide with stomach and contact action, which effectively control of yellow stem borers and leaf folder in rice crop.
Mode of action:
It antagonistically binds tightly and noncovalently to nAChRs of skeletal muscles and in neurons, thereby blocking the action of ACh at the postsynaptic membrane, inhibiting ion flow and leading to paralysis and death. The nAChR contains two binding sites for snake venom neurotoxins.
