Description
Mode of Action
Clodinafop Propargyl 15% WP is an herbicide that acts by inhibiting the enzyme acetyl-coenzyme A carboxylase (ACCase), which is essential for fatty acid synthesis in grassy weeds. This mode of action specifically targets grass weeds while being safe for most broadleaf crops. When applied post-emergence, Clodinafop-Propargyl is absorbed by the leaves of the grass weeds and translocated throughout their tissues. It disrupts the normal fatty acid synthesis process, leading to the accumulation of toxic compounds within the weeds. This interference with fatty acid synthesis ultimately inhibits the growth and development of the grass weeds, resulting in their controlled growth, necrosis, and ultimately death.
Benefits of Clodinafop Propargyl 15% WP
- Effective post-emergence control of grassy weeds in broadleaf crops.
