Difenoconazole is a systemic fungicide and controls a wide range of fungus. It controls major fungal diseases in crops like fruits, vegetables, cereals and oilseeds. It does not allow the biosynthesis of sterols in fungal cell membranes. Sterols are important for cell structure and function, without these spore formation and mycelium growth does not take place. The product provides preventive, curative and eradicative action. And ensures long term protection against diseases like powdery mildew, rust, anthracnose, leaf spots and scab.

Description

Mode of Action

Difenoconazole inhibits the demethylation of sterols in the fungal cell membranes which leads to structural instability and death of cells. Its systemic movement provides deep penetration and its translaminar activity enables it to protect against hidden pests.
