Description

Pyriproxyfen 5% + Diafenthiuron 25% SE is a broad-spectrum insecticide formulated to effectively control whiteflies and other sucking pests. The product acts on multiple life stages of the pest — egg, nymph, and adult — making it a comprehensive solution for pest management. It prevents egg hatching, inhibits the transformation of nymphs into adults, and causes sterility in adult insects. Additionally, it provides a quick knockdown effect on active pests and ensures long-lasting residual protection.

Pyriproxyfen: Functions as a juvenile hormone analog (Juvenile hormone receptor modulator – IRAC Group 7C). It disrupts the insect’s normal development by preventing egg hatching, stopping nymphal metamorphosis, and inducing sterility in adults.

Diafenthiuron: Acts on mitochondrial energy-producing enzymes, leading to the disruption of cellular respiration. This results in paralysis and death of the pest upon ingestion or contact. (IRAC Group 12A)
