Description

Chlorpyriphos 50% EC is an organophosphate insecticide having a broad spectrum that is commonly used for controlling pests in many types of crops. It has a quick knockdown action, a longer persistence on leaves, and is particularly effective against most larvae and termites.

Chlorpyrifos is a stomach and contact insecticide. It blocks the enzyme acetylcholinesterase in the nervous system of the insect, which results in the accumulation of the neurotransmitter, acetylcholine. This hyperstimulation paralyzes and kills the pest target.
