Bio Fertilizers

What are Bio-Fertilizers?

Bio-Fertilizers are the formulations that have microorganisms in them and when they are added to the soil they increase fertility and promote plant health. They colonize the rhizosphere and solubilize & mobilize nutrients present in the soil to the roots for better absorption. The microorganisms in them can be symbiotic or free-living microorganisms (e.g., bacteria and fungi).

Benefits of using Bio-Fertilizers

There are many advantages of using Bio-Fertilizers in crop cycles. First of all, they help to improve the biological activity of the soil which leads to better root development. Second, they are eco friendly and safe for long-term use without harming the environment. They also reduce dependency on chemical inputs and in some cases improve plant tolerance to stress like drought or salinity. Most importantly, growers can save on fertilizer costs and improve soil health over seasons.

Suitable crops

Bio-Fertilizers are used in different crops like wheat, rice, maize, legumes, oilseeds, pulses, tomato, chilli, capsicum, banana, mango and citrus. Bio-Fertilizers are best effective when they are applied at early stages.

Bio-Fertilizer range we offer

Sulphur Solubilizing Bacteria, Zinc Solubilizing Bacteria, Acetobacter, Azospirillum, Azotobacter, Microbial NPK Consortium, Concentrated Mycorrhizae Powder, Mycorrhizae Granules, Phosphate Solubilizing Bacteria, Potassium Solubilizing Bacteria, Rhizobium and more.

Rhizobium: This formulation is greatly effective in legume crops like soybean, groundnut, and chickpea. It has a high CFU count of efficient Rhizobium strains which helps in optimal root nodulation and nitrogen fixation.

Azospirillum: It is a nitrogen fixing bacteria and used for cereals and vegetables. But mainly it is used as plant growth promoting bacteria. It helps in increasing roots, supports nitrogen availability to the plant roots, and overall increases plant growth.

Azotobacter: It mainly functions as free living nitrogen fixing bacteria and mostly applied in non leguminous crops.

Phosphate Solubilizing Bacteria (PSB): Converts unavailable phosphorus in the soil into a form that plants can absorb.

Potassium Solubilizing Bacteria (KSB): Mobilizes potassium from soil particles to the plant roots.

Concentrated Mycorrhizae Powder: Forms a symbiotic association with roots, improves nutrient uptake especially phosphorus and water.

Acetobacter: Recommended for sugarcane and other crops, helps in nitrogen fixation and plant vigor.

Microbial NPK Consortium: A mix of selected strains that promote availability of all three major nutrients.

Each formulation is made to suit different soil and crop needs. All of them are available in bulk for brands looking to offer reliable Bio-Fertilizer options under their own label.
