Description

Aminofert-Calcium (Calcium Amino Acid Chelated Powder) is formulated for foliar application to prevent or correct calcium deficiency that can restrict plant growth and reduce yield. The product is non-toxic to plants when applied as recommended. For best results, it should be used based on plant tissue or soil analysis. It is approved for organic production.

Aminofert-Calcium contains 12% calcium and 30% amino acids (as protein hydrolysate). It is an off-white, free-flowing powder that is fully water-soluble, producing a clear solution.

Deficiency Symptoms:

  • Since calcium is not freely mobile within the plant, deficiency first appears in the apical portions as yellowing and necrosis along the leaf edges.
  • Poor root development becomes evident.
  • New leaves may curl or become distorted at the edges.
  • Dieback of young twigs and general stunting of growth occur.
