Ethion 50% EC is an organophosphorus insecticide and acaricide formulated as an Emulsifiable Concentrate (EC) for the effective control of mites and insect pests in various crops. It acts through contact action and delivers rapid knockdown of target pests. Its strong residual activity provides extended protection, helping reduce pest damage and maintain crop

Ethion inhibits the enzyme acetylcholinesterase in insects and mites, disrupting the transmission of nerve impulses. This leads to nervous system failure, paralysis, and eventual death of the target pest.
