Description

Cypermethrin 10% EC is a non-cumulative, broad-spectrum insecticide formulated as an emulsifiable concentrate. It acts as a fast-acting neurotoxin with both contact and stomach activity. Cypermethrin is moderately toxic to mammals and is rapidly metabolised in living systems. In the environment, it is non-systemic, degrades quickly on plants and soil, yet retains high activity on inert surfaces.

Cypermethrin disrupts voltage-gated sodium channels in the insect nervous system, causing repeated nerve impulses, hyperexcitation, muscle spasms, and paralysis upon contact or ingestion.
