Description

Thiacloprid 21.7% SC is a systemic insecticide containing Thiacloprid as the active ingredient along with balanced auxiliaries and inert materials. It is used as a foliar spray for the effective control of sucking pests and several other economically important insects across a wide range of crops.

Thiacloprid is an antagonist to the nicotinic acetylcholine receptor in the central nervous system. It disturbs the proper signal transmission system leading to the excitation of the nerve cells. Consequently, a disorder of the nervous system occurs leading finally to the death of the treated insect.
